Marmaris is one of our favorite destinations on the Turkish Riviera, thanks to its beautiful seaside historic town and incredible beaches. Luckily, getting there is also relatively easy, thanks to its proximity to two airports.

What Is The Closest Airport To Marmaris?

Because Marmaris does not have its own airport, the closest airport to Marmaris is actually Dalaman International Airport (DLM), approximately 90 km (56 mi) away. Another airport near Marmaris is the Milas–Bodrum Airport (BJV), which is located 130 km (81 mi) away.

From Dalaman Airport, it takes approximately 1.5 hours to 1.75 hours to get to Marmaris. On the other hand, it takes about 2 hours to get from Milas–Bodrum Airport to Marmaris.

Not only is Dalaman Airport closer to Marmaris, getting from one to another is also easier. Besides having private transfers, shuttles, taxis, and several of rental car companies, there is a direct airport shuttle from Dalaman Airport to Marmaris.

📖 Note: The bus leaves whenever they are full or at their scheduled departure time. If there are a lot of people at the airport, you might not be able to get on the Havas or Muttas airport buses and have to wait for the next one.
